Notes from Ginger Becker, Marion USD408.

This new book I read has incredible websites that I would like to share with you!
This site has a lot of information, in various sections
This site, you will discover plays and scripts to print and read in the classroom
There is an incredible number of resources and scripts at this all inclusive site
This site bills itself as "A blog journal for readers theatre practitioners and interested others"
This site has more than 150 small poems, stories, and chants for readers theatre
This is an all inclusive site at which you will discover readers theatre scripts as well as an array of fascinating resources for every classroom teacher
Resources, scripts, and information are what you will find at this dynamic site
Storycart's Press'subscription service provides an inexpensive opportunity to have timely scripts delivered to teachers or librarians each month. Each script is created or adapted by well-known writers.
Lastly.... I found a professional organization that focuses on the implementation and use of readers theatre in the classroom.
Institute for Readers Theatre
PO Box 421262
San Diego, CA  92142
(Note: I am aware that the word "theater" on some sites is spelled "theatre"...Possibly the author is from New Zealand or England...I don't know...I didn't spell it incorrectly) thanks!
